Labland Biotech, the parent company established in 1994 specializes in plant tissue culture of a wide range of economically important plant varieties. Labland Biodiesel a subsidiary was established for diversified activities into the field of biodiesel zeroing in on Jatropha curcas as the most suitable plant source for biodiesel production. Labland Biodiesel is committed to finding solutions to the global needs of improved planting material of Jatropha curcas by adopting advanced tools of plant science and biotechnology. The Group has set up an International Jatropha Technology Center, Jatropha Seed Science and Technology Center and a dedicated tissue culture production facility for Jatropha to reinforce the knowledge base and the products.
